Events
At Tweed Heads Public School, school events are essential for making learning engaging and nurturing a positive, inclusive school culture. They also provide families with meaningful opportunities to connect with the school community and create lasting memories throughout their child’s educational journey.
Our school events include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- cultural celebrations (e.g. Harmony Week and NAIDOC Week)
- excursions and incursions that extend learning beyond the classroom through expert presentations
- performances, concerts or school productions (e.g. our annual school talent quest)
- fundraising, charity and community events such as our Cancer Council Biggest Morning tea fundraiser
- regular award assemblies
- end of term reward days for each stage
- graduation and other celebrations that mark important milestones for our students
We invite you to contact us to learn more about upcoming events and discover how you can be involved in our vibrant school community.

Our popular Colour Run Fundraiser, organised by our brilliant P&C, is a vibrant and fun-filled event that raises vital funds for our school.
